This is great news for Avalias as this selection complements our Avalanche ST membership which is already an alumni of the same program and further promotes our commitment to innovation in simulation technology.

Membership of the DSRD Australian Technology Showcase program helps to profile innovative Australian developed technology to a wide audience, both here at home and abroad.

This recognition follows the successful use of CrowdFlow technology during the 75th celebrations of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the visit of the Pope to Sydney during World Youth Day in July 2008. Preparations and careful planning  were required by each of the organising agencies preparing for the hundreds of thousands of people expected to each event. CrowdFlow technology was used successfully as part of these preparations to test the effects of the crowds during these events.

CrowdFlow  is a highly versatile technology, provided as a service to the preparedness community. It can be used for planning and testing of major events, sporting events, venue design, and evacuations, by visualising in advance the behaviours and throughput of crowds in any given location.
