Australian & NZ Disaster & Emergency Management Conference 2012

The Australian and New Zealand Disaster and Emergency Management Conference will provide a forum to examine the issues surrounding natural and man-made hazards. It is a joint initiative of the Australian Institute of Emergency Services (Queensland Division) the Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Association Inc and the Association for Sustainability in Business Inc. Each association is a Non-Government, Not for Profit, Member Based organisation.

The 2012 conference will be held on the 16th to the 18th of April at the Brisbane Convention Centre. The program format will consist of keynote addresses, concurrent sessions and workshops. There will be over 50 presentations. The conference streams will include Research People Management Mitigation Climate Change Relief & Recovery – Health, Local Business, Infrastructure Volunteers Response Business Continuity Crisis Management Media - from radio to the internet Risk Assessment Policy and Governance
